About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Social Media Manager to lead the planning, execution, and oversight of all social media activities for our government PR organization in Abu Dhabi. The role requires deep knowledge of public communications, government protocols, and audience engagement strategies. You will manage content strategy, campaigns, and online presence while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and public messaging standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy that enhances the organization’s visibility, reputation, and public engagement.
- Manage official social media accounts across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.
- Plan, execute, and monitor content campaigns in line with government communications protocols and messaging guidelines.
- Track social media performance metrics, generate insights, and provide recommendations to optimize public engagement.
- Collaborate with internal departments, government stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Monitor trends, public sentiment, and emerging social media platforms to proactively adjust communications strategies.
- Respond to social media inquiries and manage online reputation, escalating sensitive issues appropriately.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within government, public affairs, or PR sectors.
- Proven expertise in content strategy, digital campaigns, and social media analytics.
- Strong knowledge of government communications protocols and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience managing social media teams or coordinating with creative agencies.
- Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
