Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior MSK Physiotherapist (preferably Male) to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and sports injuries to take on a varied caseload in a supportive and progressive private practice environment.
You’ll work closely with clients ranging from recreational to elite-level athletes, as well as patients presenting with both acute and chronic pain conditions. A key part of this role involves applying sound rehabilitation principles and confidently progressing or regressing treatment plans through all stages of recovery — from acute injury to end-stage rehabilitation and return to sport or function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of MSK conditions including sports injuries, post-surgical rehab, and
- chronic pain.
- Design and implement patient-centered rehabilitation programs, with the ability to progress or regress exercises
- based on recovery stages and patient response.
- Provide high-quality care to post-operative orthopedic patients (UL and LL), including inpatient or outpatient
- experience.
- Deliver tailored rehab for return-to-sport and performance-level clients, including end-stage rehab for athletes.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive clinical documentation and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing CPD and contribute to in-service training (IST) sessions.
- Support junior physiotherapists or students as required.
- Contribute to clinical improvement initiatives or service development projects where appropriate.
- Ability to create partnerships and relationships with local referring doctors and GPs
Person Specification
Essential Criteria:
- BSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 – 7 years’ post-graduate experience in MSK physiotherapy.
- At least 2 years’ experience working in private practice.
- Strong experience in managing both acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Proven experience in end-stage rehabilitation and return-to-sport programming.
- Competence in working with high-level or elite athletes across varied sports.
- Clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, including both upper and lower limb post-op cases (inpatient
- or outpatient).
- Strong understanding of rehab principles, with ability to progress/regress patients through recovery phases.
- HCPC registration (or equivalent).
- Active engagement in CPD, with a track record of attending relevant courses annually.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- IT literate, with experience in electronic note-taking systems and working knowledge of Excel for basic data
- tracking or reporting.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience working in the UAE or similar healthcare setting.
- Confidence in delivering CPD/IST sessions to peers.
- Additional certifications in strength & conditioning or specialist rehab areas (e.g. ACL rehab, shoulder rehab, return-to-play testing).
- Interest or experience in clinical audit, service improvement, or mentoring.
