Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Freelancer Psychologist based in Sharjah. The psychologist will conduct individual assessments, provide evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with organizational and ethical standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal care teams, coordinating with referring providers, and contributing to integrated care plans. The role also involves monitoring client progress, adjusting interventions as needed, and using digital tools and platforms to support care delivery. The psychologist will uphold strict confidentiality, follow local regulatory guidelines, and participate in periodic training or case discussions as requested.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply evidence-based approaches to diverse client populations.
• Demonstrated skills in Counseling and Psychological Assessment, including intake evaluations, diagnostic formulation, and treatment planning.
• Relevant background or exposure to Medicine or allied health fields, enabling effective collaboration in multidisciplinary care settings.
• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related discipline; valid local licensure/registration to practice in Sharjah or eligibility to obtain it.
• Experience providing in-person psychotherapy or counseling, preferably in outpatient, clinic, or organizational settings.
• Comfort using digital tools, electronic records, and telehealth platforms as part of a tech-enabled care model.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with a client-centered, culturally sensitive approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage a flexible part-time schedule, and maintain professional boundaries and ethics at all times.
