Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

  • Carry out nursing care and services to guests according to the Health & Wellness standards.
  • Ensure the wellbeing of guests are maintained at all times through thorough intake, monitoring and providing information.
  • Support the day to day operations to maintain a smooth running of the department.

KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This is a 24h, 7 days a week operational team. Every member of the nursing team is able to work days and nights shifts.
  • Be fully trained on the emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Responsible for the day to day organization of the medical section, including liaising with other health professionals in the departments or any contracted medical institution / professional consultant
  • Handle initial intake for every arriving guest, including BIA, body measurements and basic health data collection.
  • Ensure guests’ records and history are created, maintained up to date with all necessary information for safe operations
  • Ensure full confidentiality of guests medical information and only shares with relevant team members
  • Provide nursing treatments and services, such as blood draw and colonic hydrotherapy and ensure they are done in compliance with the Health and Wellness standards.
  • Carry out medical care and ensure no contraindications for programs and treatments and advise as necessary.
  • Make medical bookings and services with external parties as required.
  • Prepare the guests prior to nursing treatments, anticipate needs and provide explanation and answer questions.
  • Constantly check that guests feel comfortable with the therapy and monitor guests during and after the treatments.
  • Continuously monitor guests with medical conditions to ensure that the programs and treatments are suitable and beneficial, and advise other practitioners or departments as necessary.
  • Provide information on departmental products, treatments and services accurately and professionally.
  • Set-up the treatment and nursing rooms, ensure enough stock of products and equipment is available and in good working condition.
  • Clean-up and sanitize the treatment rooms after each treatment to ensure they are ready to receive a new guest.
  • Ensure all areas of the department meet the safety, cleanliness and hygienic standards at all times.
  • Continuously challenge the operations and procedures and provide suggestions for improvement to the Holistic Team Leader.
  • Promote Wellness services to the guests.
  • Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests in the department that require particular attention.
  • Follow through the daily check lists and have a clear understanding of own tasks.
  • Handle guests’ queries and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports, such as guest and staff incident, daily revenue summary, subject objective assessment plan and logbook.
  • Manage the sanitation of medical tools and ensure the enclave works properly.
  • Manage the medicinal dispensary and pharmacy, including stock take and inventory, ordering and dispensing to guests and team members.
  • Ensure the Health and Safety regulations regarding medical waste disposal are applied and kept up to date.
  • Support the operations and help when needed, as instructed.
  • Available for guests as a point of contact and co-responsibility for appropriate treatment of guest complaints, passing on and documenting such complaints.
  • Aware of the joint responsibility for safety in and abide strictly by all the safety instructions, especially when operating the machines and equipment.
  • Ensure (daily) all forms of communication are used to full capacity and relevant information is handed over to the next shift throughout the shift and briefings.
  • Obtain all the relevant information from the previous shift, special guests, tasks to be clarified and to be completed and special events.
  • Complete daily checklists of duties, to assure that appropriate reports are filed.
  • Document all significant events during the night and share it with respective HOD.
  • Ensure accuracy of all numbers reported including statistics.
  • Ensure all calculations are tally and all necessary reports are completed before running the night.
  • Ensure that all interfaces are running without glitch.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • BA/BsC in Nursing or equivalent valid for Saudi Arabia
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Mental Health and Mentoring
  • Fluent in English, Arabic an advantage
  • Additional language an advantage

Work Experience:

  • Previous experience in similar role, ideally in a health & wellness resort
  • Experience educating guests on lifestyle changes and self-care to promote wellness
  • Experience in ED department or primary care
