Job Title: Front of House (FOH) – Arabic Speaker
Department: Service / Operations
Job Summary: The Front of House (FOH) team member is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience from arrival to departure. The role requires excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and fluency in both Arabic and English to effectively assist guests and support restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Communicate clearly in Arabic and English with guests to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
- Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table assignments efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Provide accurate information about menu items, promotions, and restaurant services.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Process guest payments accurately and issue receipts when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception, dining, and service areas.
- Support other FOH staff and assist in training new team members.
- Uphold company policies, grooming standards, and service quality expectations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Basic POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge is an advantage.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hospitality or customer service training is a plus.
