Job Overview:

IBO Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Radiographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist healthcare providers in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a professional and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety measures.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Review and evaluate images to confirm quality and diagnostic value, and report any abnormalities to the attending physician.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast agents as necessary for imaging procedures.
• Ensure a sterile and safe working environment, following infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best patient care.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
• Adhere to all IBO Medical Center policies and regulatory requirements related to radiographic practices.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in diagnostic radiography, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Valid license to practice in UAE.
• Valid and current license or certification as a Radiographer in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in operating radiology equipment and imaging software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
