Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Manager to own and grow the mb.io community ecosystem across Discord, Telegram, and X. This role will serve as the voice and face of mb.io, driving engagement, fostering a strong and trusted community environment, and aligning community initiatives with marketing, product, and token milestones. The ideal candidate is highly strategic, deeply familiar with crypto and online communities, and passionate about building meaningful user relationships at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Strategy:

  • Design and execute growth strategies across Discord, Telegram, and X aligned with mb.io’s marketing and community objectives.
  • Define and track key KPIs including member growth, DAU/WAU, retention, and sentiment.
  • Identify and leverage growth opportunities through partnerships, KOL activations, and cross-platform campaigns.

Community Operations:

  • Oversee daily community health including engagement levels, response times, tone, and activity.
  • Engage and support a diverse audience ranging from TradFi newcomers to experienced crypto users.
  • Plan and execute AMAs, community calls, contests, giveaways, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Build and optimize server architecture including channels, roles, permissions, and onboarding flows.

Moderation & Team Management:

  • Manage and support the moderation team, including scheduling, performance oversight, and escalation handling.
  • Develop and maintain moderation guidelines, code of conduct, and escalation procedures.
  • Oversee automation tools such as MB Guard bot, including anti-scam filters and auto-moderation systems.

Process & Reporting:

  • Establish scalable processes for onboarding, content planning, campaign execution, and crisis management.
  • Prepare weekly reports on KPIs, sentiment analysis, risks, and key community insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and KOL teams to share feedback and improve overall strategy.

Security & Trust:

  • Lead community education initiatives focused on scam awareness and safe practices.
  • Monitor and respond to impersonation attempts, phishing attacks, and other security threats in coordination with internal teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 4–6 years of experience in community management, preferably within crypto, fintech, or online platforms.
  • Tools & Technology: Familiarity with community tools, bots, CRM systems, moderation platforms, and AI-powered tools for community management, automation, and content creation.
  • Community Expertise: Proven experience managing Discord, Telegram, and X communities at scale.
  • Crypto Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain, crypto culture, and Web3 community dynamics.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Leadership: Experience managing moderators or community teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytics: Ability to track, analyze, and report on community metrics and sentiment.
  • Tools & Technology: Familiarity with community tools, bots, CRM systems, and moderation platforms.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
