Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company’s Forex transactions.
- Update accounts regularly, including Forex trading accounts, bank statements, and ledgers.
- Maintain awareness and accurate handling of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Process daily financial transactions, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded in the accounting system.
- Monitor and manage cash flow related to Forex trading activities.
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts with a focus on Forex operations.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the trading and finance teams for accurate reporting of Forex transactions.
- Support the external audit process by providing relevant documentation and information.
- Stay updated on developments in the Forex market and their impact on financial reporting.
Requirements:
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
Proven experience in bookkeeping within a Forex brokerage or similar financial setting.
Knowledge of UAE corporate tax regulations is essential.
Strong understanding of Forex trading and its financial implications.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
Experience in managing accounts receivable and payable.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
