Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a DHA Registered Nurse located in Dubai. The Registered Nurse will assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, monitor and assess patient conditions, and provide emotional and physical support throughout their healthcare journey. Responsibilities also include proper documentation, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring that safety protocols and standards are consistently met in all patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical nursing skills with experience in patient assessment, monitoring, and care
• Knowledge of pre-operative and post-operative care and procedures
• Familiarity with safety protocols, infection control measures, and healthcare guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Valid nursing license and relevant certifications
• Previous experience in surgical, aesthetic, or cosmetic practices is an asset
• Compassion, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to patient care

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid DHA license (mandatory)
• Available to join immediately
• Experience in plastic surgery or general surgery (pre- and post-operative care preferred)
• Experience in ward settings
• Strong skills in blood extraction (phlebotomy)
• Ability to monitor and record vital signs
• Basic ECG reading skills
• ICU experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist doctors during patient examinations and procedures
• Support pre- and post-operative patient care
• Schedule and manage patient appointments
• Conduct follow-ups with patients
• Perform dressing and bandage changes
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Update and maintain EMR system records
• Check and manage medical stock and supplies
• Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols
