Job location: Egypt (Remote)

We are looking for a Principal Backend Engineer/Team Lead who is not just a coder, but a guardian of software craftsmanship. You will lead the backend architecture for our Health Claim Management Solution, enforcing Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles. You will ensure that our Java Spring Boot services are scalable, testable, and strictly aligned with our engineering standards (SOLID, RFC 7807, Testcontainers).

Experience: 8 years +, minimum 3 years in leading team

Technical Skills:

– Deep expertise in Java Spring Boot 3+ and Spring Data JPA.
Proven track record of implementing Clean Architecture and DDD in production.
– Experience with Vector Databases (integration patterns).
– Quality Focus: Obsession with code quality, static analysis (SonarQube), and automated testing patterns.
– Database: Advanced SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL preferred) and transaction management.
– Documentation: Discipline in maintaining up-to-date OpenAPI/Swagger documentation and JavaDoc.
