Consultant Pediatrician – Various Subspecialties

Join our prestigious healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE, in partnership with MGC Emirates, as a Consultant Pediatrician with expertise in one of the following subspecialties: Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Pulmonology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Pediatric Dermatology, Neonatology, or Emergency Medicine.

Candidate Profile:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Postgraduate training in Pediatrics with valid board certification (e.g., American Board, MRCPCH, FRACP, FRCPC)
• Minimum 5 years of experience post-specialization as a full-time pediatrician
• Subspecialty fellowship or training in one of the following: Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Pulmonology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Pediatric Dermatology, Neonatology, or Emergency Medicine
• DHA licensemandatory
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Excellent English skills (Arabic is a plus but not essential)
• High ethical standards and adherence to clinical governance principles

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical duties as a Consultant Pediatrician in accordance with approved privileges and medical standards
• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care across the full pediatric age range
• Attend deliveries and neonatal emergencies in the absence of the neonatology team
• Participate in the pediatric on-call roster and provide emergency coverage
• Guide and mentor junior staff, contributing to multidisciplinary clinical decision-making
• Deliver consultative services to other departments as required
• Engage in continuous medical education to stay updated with current practices and research
• Contribute to the development of pediatric protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Department on unusual or complex cases
