Job Description
The College of Business Administration at Ajman University invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, beginning in the Spring Semester of the 2025–26 academic year
Qualifications & Experience
- A Ph.D. in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, or a related field from a reputable university (preference for AACSB-accredited institutions); applicants with a Master’s degree and substantial industry experience will also be considered.
- Proven record of teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level in innovation and entrepreneurship courses.
- Relevant industry or consulting experience in innovation and entrepreneurship that provides practical insights for the classroom.
- Ability to design innovative course materials and adapt to evolving teaching methodologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, ensuring alignment with course objectives and linking theory to practice through case studies, simulations, and experiential learning.
- Assess and monitor student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Develop, update, and manage instructional resources, syllabi, and project-based learning activities that connect classroom concepts to entrepreneurial practice.
- Foster an inclusive and culturally sensitive learning environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Engage with industry partners, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders to enrich learning outcomes and provide networking opportunities for students.
- Motivate students to develop entrepreneurial mindsets, resilience, and problem-solving skills while collaborating with colleagues to promote a culture of innovation.
- Integrate innovative teaching methods, technologies, and resources to enhance course delivery and bridge classroom learning with practical application.
- Capacity to collaborate with industry partners and community networks to enrich teaching and student learning.
